This in-person course is Immersion-based, an excellent way to learn through transmission and felt-movement sense. There is solid theory and group work, plus partner sharing, movement, and hands on applications. Join us for this in-depth relational attachment work combined with exquisite embodiment based on principles of Body-Mind Centering.
Are you getting worn out as a therapist? Looking for ways to expand your client base? Have more satisfaction and fun in your work?
Be the best therapist you can be! When you help people to really change, they tell others and your practice grows. Whether you are just getting started, or ready to infuse your work with new life, this training is for you.
ps: you can take this for personal growth needs as well!
Living on purpose helps the heart feel aligned with spirit. When we are off point, meaning confused emotionally, mentally, or behaviorally, life gets stressful.
We bring it all; group process dynamics, exquisite embodiment based on principles of Body-Mind Centering, personal birth journey integration, plus psychology of development and early attachment. We also look at issues of power, and teach conflict resolution and communication skills, and family
Embodiment practices rejuvenate the bodymind. Annie is especially good at pacing material, and using movement and rest to integrate. People leave modules feeling satisfied, full in a good way, rather than overwhelmed.
You will observe demo sessions, practice with peers, explore movement resources, and receive skilled educative touch sessions to learn through your body. There will be theory discussions and didactic work as well.
Limited to 24 people with 4 assistants. You will experience a variety of settings: large group, small group, partner sessions
Early shock takes time to repair. Step one is to access those encoded memories. Step 2 is to trust letting go of “compensations” without “falling apart.” Annie calls this “riding the waves and staying on the surf board.” Step 3 is learning to digest, and integrate your unique personal narrative (i.e. your life experiences) into a meaningful story. This is how you will be able to help clients of all ages.
Neither do we! Learning to dissipate shock, to re-associate into the body, and to stay relational when you have an emotional charge transforms emotions into useful energy. Annie is extremely skilled at pacing and helping people ground their emotions so that energy becomes the potency you see in children at play.
Yes, when at all possible. Expect to attend. Of course, life emergencies happen. You will be invited to make it up at another module the following year, and expected to check in with your assistant trainer.
No, securing a place in the training is both a space commitment and a financial commitment. Please stay in the training! Often when material arises, triggers can activate. However, that is the very reason and depth of learning this training offers. We skillfully help the integration and release of old habits, projective thought patterns, “young” emotional charge, and use skillful communication. If special circumstances arise, you can request special consideration and we will look for a workable solution.
We are opening enrollment for the fall. If you are able to attend our summer camp, please do so, and here are the upcoming fall dates into 2020.

"Annie is a dynamic group facilitator, who is full of fierceness and compassion. She teaches from an authentic, heart- filled, intelligent, heart and mind. Offering a comprehensive and experiential field in which to explore and to understand our earliest developmental patterns and those of our clients. As we begin to uncover these survival based strategies from infancy, Annie offers new choices for how to be in life more completely and have more nurturing and satisfying relationships.
Annie’s groups are filled with space for personal exploration, somatic practice, and wise insight to bring back into your personal life as well as your professional life.”
“ I learned how to really, really, really slow it down so I am not re-stimulating my trauma. I learned skills to slow myself down and track my own trauma responses/triggers so that I don’t dissociate. The training put me in more awe than I could have imagined regarding early imprinting and the power and lasting effects it can have on us. Now I know what anesthesia given to Mom can do to baby. And I am gradually clearing this imprinting out of my system. This training has dramatically and irrevocably altered my life in so many positive ways. Annie models the work so expertly in just the way she “holds space” during the trainings.”
